During high school, I studied at Satit Ongkharak Demonstration School (ODS)<\/a><\/strong> and graduated with a General Educational Development (GED) by taking every subject at 16. Currently, I am 17 years old (2025) and studying at the Faculty of Law, \u0e21\u0e2b\u0e32\u0e27\u0e34\u0e17\u0e22\u0e32\u0e25\u0e31\u0e22\u0e28\u0e23\u0e35\u0e19\u0e04\u0e23\u0e34\u0e19\u0e17\u0e23\u0e27\u0e34\u0e42\u0e23\u0e12: Srinakharinwirot University<\/a><\/strong> (SWU LAW 07).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before I successfully completed secondary school and high school, and especially passed the entrance exam to my dream university, many teachers from BFITS Thailand<\/a><\/strong> and SPR played an essential role in my journey. I want to share how these teachers helped shape my mindset, skills, and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Facing English for the Very First Time<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Completing the GED exam was extremely difficult for me\u2014not only because of the content and analysis required, but also because everything was in English. I believe that if I hadn\u2019t studied in the MEP program during secondary school, completing the GED would have been much harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before studying with BFITS teachers at SPR, I felt that English was one of the most challenging subjects in the world. It required many skills, such as writing, reading, listening, and speaking, all of which were challenging to practice. However, studying with BFITS teachers completely changed my attitude toward English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning Weakness into Strength in English with Teacher Derm<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

When I was around 12 years old (2020), or in Mathayom 1 (M1), it was my first time facing English every day. I still remember my first English Core class with Teacher Derm English. I didn\u2019t understand what he was saying\u2014not even a single sentence. I looked around and felt like I was the only one who couldn\u2019t understand, while my classmates seemed to follow everything easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first exam result was very poor, and I believed I was at the bottom of the class. I didn\u2019t know how to improve, so I decided to consult Teacher Derm. Before entering his working room, I was afraid he would scold me. But the opposite happened. He didn\u2019t blame me at all\u2014instead, he patiently advised me on how to improve my English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that day, my English skills improved steadily. When I received my final exam result, I scored 10\/10. I couldn\u2019t believe it. The technique he taught me that day has stayed with me for more than six years. Teacher Derm completely changed my attitude toward English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning Math Without Fear with Teacher Afton<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

One subject I never really liked was Math. One morning, I learned how to solve equations, but all my answers were wrong. I felt very upset. At the end of class, Teacher Afton Murillo came to me and softly explained why my answers were incorrect. He taught me again\u2014two or three times\u2014until I fully understood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teacher Afton is one of the kindest Math teachers I have ever studied with. He always includes games related to the lesson in his presentations, which makes students look forward to his class. For me, Math in Thai was already difficult, so Math in English seemed even harder. But he made difficult lessons easy to understand. What he taught us wasn\u2019t just for exams\u2014it could also be used in daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovering the Fun Side of Science with Teacher Anthony<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Science was another subject I didn\u2019t expect to enjoy. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy felt overwhelming, with too many lessons and lectures. But Teacher Anthony Ferrer<\/a><\/strong> completely changed my perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He didn\u2019t only teach from textbooks\u2014he created exciting experiments that made lessons interesting and fun. His teaching method helped me understand concepts more clearly and easily. I always looked forward to his class and often guessed with my friends what kind of experiment he would prepare for us. He never disappointed us. Because of him, Science became a subject I truly enjoyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changing My Perspective on Computer Studies with Teacher Neil<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

ICT\/Computer Science was a subject I had studied since primary school, but I never liked it. I felt it wasn\u2019t going to be valuable in my life, so I didn\u2019t pay much attention. When I first entered computer class years ago, I thought the teacher looked fierce, so I assumed the class would be boring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But within 30 minutes, my perspective completely changed. Teacher Neil Rusia was not fierce at all\u2014he was caring and supportive. He was the first teacher who taught me how to write computer code through Code.org. Because of him, I became interested in computers. Even though I didn\u2019t continue studying computer seriously, I still use the knowledge he taught me today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning Beyond the Classroom Through MEP Experiences<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What I received from the SPR and the MEP program was not only academic knowledge, but also valuable experiences. BFITS teachers guided me from zero knowledge to becoming the best version of myself today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of them, I was able to use all my skills to complete the GED exam and enter my dream university and faculty. I cannot imagine where I would be if I hadn\u2019t chosen to study at SPR. All subjects were difficult, but BFITS teachers transformed complex content into easy-to-understand lessons that students could understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing the Same Path Again Without Regret<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If I could turn back time and choose my secondary school again, I would definitely choose the same path. The teachers, lessons, and experiences at SPR and in the MEP program shaped who I am today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BFITS teachers didn\u2019t just teach subjects\u2014they taught me how to learn, how to think, and how to believe in myself. I am sincerely grateful for everything they have given me, and I will carry these lessons with me for the rest of my life.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
