Being a student at Saipanyarangsit (SPR) School<\/a><\/strong> BFITS Program (MEP) has been one of the most meaningful and memorable parts of my school life. When I first entered the program in Matthayom 4 (Grade 10), I was full of excitement but also a little nervous. I was a new student in the MEP program, and most of my classmates had been studying together since Matthayom 1 (Grade 7). They already knew each other well, had shared experiences, and seemed very comfortable together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, I worried about whether I could fit in or keep up with everyone, but soon I found that the MEP environment was very welcoming. The BFITS teachers, most especially, were supportive, the students were friendly, and the atmosphere encouraged learning and friendship. That was the beginning of a new chapter that shaped not only my academic growth but also my personality and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My First Big Challenge: The MEP Exhibition in M.4<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The BFITS Program (MEP) focused on developing our English communication skills and encouraging us to think more critically and creatively. My very first academic challenge in M.4 was the MEP Exhibition Project, which became an unforgettable experience because it was also my first research paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Turning Ideas Into Innovation: Creating Sustainable SCOBY Products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We had to work on SCOBY, which stands for \u201cSymbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast.\u201d<\/em> My group created SCOBY ACCESSORIES, including earrings, necklaces, and bracelets made from SCOBY sheets. On the exhibition day, we decorated our booth with our products and presented our findings in English to teachers, friends, and guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was such a great learning experience because it combined academic study, creativity, and communication. I learned not only about science but also how to present ideas confidently to others and work in a team. This project made me realize that learning can be enjoyable and that MEP encourages us to apply our knowledge in real-world settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovering My Potential Through Challenges and Competitions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Every year, our teachers also supported and encouraged us to participate in the biggest MEP competitions and events, which challenged us to showcase our skills and creativity. They always believed in our potential and pushed us to try new things, even if we were unsure of ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was one of the students who joined the Science Project Competition, where MEP students from many different schools competed. My teammates and I worked on creating \u201cPlant-Based Leather\u201d<\/em> from durian husks, aiming to turn waste into a useful, vegan material that could replace animal leather and reduce environmental impact. We designed simple products like AirPods cases and coin purses, and tested the leather\u2019s durability to ensure it was practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the opportunities the school gave us, not just inside the classroom but also through authentic experiences that helped us improve and discover our abilities, finishing the research paper and presenting it to judges made this competition become the achievement I was most proud of. It showed how much I had grown and how capable I could be when I put in effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it was a challenging project, our teachers guided us throughout the process, and a productive brainstorming session with my teammates helped us complete it successfully. I received the bronze medal in this competition, but I learned that success isn\u2019t only about winning; it is about teamwork, determination, and believing in ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am proud of what we were able to achieve together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Joy of International Day: Celebrating Cultures Through Creativity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

But being an MEP student isn\u2019t just about studying; it\u2019s also about enjoying many fun and meaningful activities. MEP gave us many opportunities to participate in school events, which helped us develop confidence, teamwork, and cultural understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most special events was \u201cInternational Day<\/em>,\u201d a highlight of the school year. Each class represented a different country, and my class represented Italy. Before the event, everyone worked together to prepare our Italy booth and performance to showcase Italy’s popular culture in outstanding ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decorated our market stall, where we sold sweet treats like marshmallow layers and chocolate tarts. It was so much fun making and selling them with my classmates; we laughed a lot and learned how to cooperate as a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing Italy to Life: Parade and Performance Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cInternational Day\u201d<\/em> was not just about selling; it was about learning and celebrating world cultures. There was also a parade, and I got to wear clothes representing Italy and walk proudly with my friends. The energy was amazing, and the whole school was full of color and excitement as MEP students from each class represented different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite part was when our class performed a short drama of “Romeo and Juliet.<\/em>” We had practiced together and supported each other throughout the preparation, and when the performance began, everything went perfectly. The audience enjoyed it, and we were proud of the effort and teamwork that made it possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this activity, we learned more about the cultures of different countries, and the whole experience was full of joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEP Camp: Adventure, Friendship, and Memories to Keep Forever<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight of my MEP life was joining the \u201cMEP Camp.\u201d<\/em> I still can\u2019t believe it was my last camp, and it amazes me how much I have learned and experienced there. The camp was full of activities that allowed us to use English in fun and creative ways, from games and group challenges to discussions and problem-solving tasks, which gave me the chance to get to know others in MEP and see their talents and potential up close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camp staff were energetic, friendly, and very helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. They also planned a day for adventure activities I had never tried before, such as ATV rides and river rafting. I was so excited, and it was a fantastic experience that we enjoyed together with friends. These activities gave us quality time to build relationships, relax, and have fun while learning to cooperate and support each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talent Show, Night Party, and the Meaning of MEP Family<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most memorable moment for me during camp was the \u201cTalent Show and Night Party.\u201d<\/em> My class decided to perform by singing, and I was one of the representatives, which I had never done in front of others before. I was so nervous before going on stage, but the energy of MEP students was so cheerful and supportive that my nervousness disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While performing, I saw their smiles and heard their claps. That moment made me feel so loved and supported. After the Talent Show, we continued with one of our MEP traditions: the “MEP Boom,”<\/em> where Matthayom 4 (Grade 10) and Matthayom 11 (Grade 11) cheer and \u201cboom\u201d<\/em> for Matthayom 6 (Grade 12) as a way to encourage them and send them off to university next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This moment truly highlighted the strong relationship within the MEP program and made the night even more meaningful. It showed me that MEP is more than a program, but it\u2019s a family that believes in one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lessons, Values, and Friendships I Will Carry Into the Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Throughout these three years, I have seen how MEP students have great potential and a strong sense of teamwork. We might be a small group compared to other programs, but we are full of energy, kindness, and talent. We always cheer each other on, whether during lessons, presentations, or school events. Even when things get stressful, we still find ways to make each other smile. That spirit of support and togetherness makes our MEP family unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our teachers also played a massive role in making the MEP experience meaningful. They didn\u2019t only teach us subjects, but they taught us to think bigger, dream higher, and believe in ourselves. They were always patient, even when we struggled, and they encouraged us to learn from mistakes instead of being afraid of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really admire how they cared about both our learning and our personal growth. They taught us to be responsible, kind, and confident in expressing ourselves. Their support made me believe that education is not only about knowledge but also about the values that guide us in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Precious Chapter I Will Always Cherish<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the end, these three years as a BFITS Program (MEP) student have become a precious chapter of my life. Every moment from the first nervous day in Matthayom 4 (Grade 10) to the last day of Matthayom 6 (Grade 12) has taught me something valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have gained knowledge, confidence, and friendships that will stay with me forever. I am deeply thankful to all my teachers for their guidance and to my friends for their kindness and support. Together, we created memories that will last a lifetime. It was truly a meaningful and precious time, and I will always be grateful to have been part of the MEP students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
