Be Like Jinny: Celebrate the Teachers Who Make Learning Shine at Saipanyarangsit (SPR) School

Having been a BFITS Program (MEP) student at Saipanyarangsit (SPR) School for 6 years, I found it difficult to adjust during the first year. Studying in the MEP means learning with foreign teachers, and of course, when I was a child, I often felt afraid and nervous. I didn’t dare to talk to teachers, and I was quite shy at the beginning.

But when I actually started studying, I realized it wasn’t like that at all. The teachers never made me feel uncomfortable or afraid. Whether I could do something or not, they always encouraged and praised me. I have to admit that I’m not that good, especially when it comes to grammar. Sometimes I misused grammar when speaking English, but they always told me it was okay, and that even they, as native speakers, make mistakes.

As long as I understood and tried, that was enough. That mindset helped me gain confidence, not only in speaking English but also in learning overall.

Learning Through Encouragement, Not Pressure

Our teachers always prepared engaging lessons and activities that made learning feel comfortable and enjoyable. This helped me open up more and feel less afraid of making mistakes. They always taught us to try things ourselves, and even if we were wrong, it was okay. If we didn’t understand something, we could always ask. Teachers always wanted to understand us and help us.

This made me feel like they genuinely cared about their students. Because of that, learning felt fun instead of stressful or pressured. I could tell that teachers paid close attention to how they taught so that we could understand clearly. Even when they had just explained something, and I still asked again, they never got angry and always explained it calmly.

Learning Together Through Labs and Hands-On Experiences

As I grew up and became more accustomed to the MEP environment, I began to feel truly attached to the program. Even when we had challenging projects or when MEP event days were incredibly tiring, everything always ended with laughter. Whether the result was a success or a failure didn’t really matter.

What mattered most was the experience and how we felt during those moments. Looking back now, it’s funny to see how we managed to get through everything together. I really have to thank our teachers for always giving us advice, guiding us, and helping us whenever we needed support.

Teachers Who Made Every Subject Possible

Math is a subject filled with complicated formulas. Science has many complex theories to remember. English may seem easy, but words with the same meaning are often spelled differently. Computer Science feels extremely difficult and sometimes almost impossible to understand.

But no matter how complex the subject was, there were always teachers who could explain it and help us find answers. There were so many challenges along the way, but we made it through because of our teachers—those who taught us with dedication, cared about us, and truly wanted us to grow.

Whenever we did well, the people who felt proud, besides ourselves, were our teachers. But you know what? We, your students, are just as proud of you as you are.

Gratitude for Teachers Who Taught with Heart

Thank you for choosing to become a teacher and for always encouraging and caring for us so warmly. You made learning something truly joyful. You did your job wonderfully, even when we were stubborn, loud, or didn’t pay attention in class.

You all stayed patient and continued teaching us with all your heart, always letting us try things we had never done before and learn things we had never known. I’m sure that when we grow up, all these moments will become precious memories and valuable experiences that we will carry with us forever.

Moments Worth Remembering, Lessons Worth Keeping

Looking back, every activity, every lesson, and every small moment became part of a journey that shaped who I am today. Because of our teachers, learning didn’t feel like a burden—it felt meaningful, warm, and full of support. These are memories I will always treasure, and lessons I will carry with me wherever I go.
